why are there only 50 of the chickens? what if they lay an extra egg?

They break the egg, I think? It's to make sure there are only fifty, so that it's a rare kind of chicken to eat.
But I've always thought it was kind of a waste. Wouldn't it be great if one more person got to eat the chicken?
It really was tasty.

yeah. must be expensive though. so you're from an estate, huh? are they your chickens or someone else's fancy birds?

They're only a few million ahn, I think. But I don't know. The birds simply show up. The estate is large, so if they had the birds at a different part of the estate, I wouldn't hear them cluck.
I've always wanted to hug a chicken, though. Have you ever hugged one? They seem warm.

i don't think i've ever been in the same room as a live chicken. i've never thought about hugging any... you never had any pets? i had a dog for like a week. and rabbits back in school, if class pets count.

There was a dog at the estate. It always looked happy when it was taken out for walkies.
Fearnie promised that she will turn me into a dog when she can, though, so I look forward to seeing what that is like.
